Solar Charge your Laptop
This project is actually an enhancement I am planning to add to my other project for my CarPC. I am researching a solution to integrate solar power in my car to not only charge and supply power to my EEEPC but to use with other devices as well. The layout displayed below is just a rough idea on the concept I am exploring. Basically I plan to attach 2 6v flexible solar panels to a dash cover. The panels will connect through the solar charge controller to the battery, and the eeepc will connect to the other end of the solar charge controller from the battery.

I picture displayed above was taken in the early stage of my project. I originally had my EEEPC mounted on a Netbook car floor mount. I have since installed installed it under the front passenger seat. I also performed an internal hardware modification which allows me to power on the netbook using an external momentary button. I am using a TFT-Rearview-Mirror-Monitor as a temporary solution to view the desktop. I have paired a bluetooth mini keyboard in order to interact with the desktop while the pc is mounted under the seat.
