Bluetooth OBDII for Android!
It feels like I’ve been working on the same CarPC project for years now…I keep having new ideas so it keeps evolving. I am now considering using a tablet PC as my car pc. Tablet PC’s are low footprint and less hardware and get the job done if you’re not planning on hardcore computing in your car. The ipad is nice and all but is too proprietary for me and too pricey. There are tons of other tablet PC’s out there and this includes those running Android OS.
I came across a website that sells a reasonably priced bluetooth OBDII (On Board Diagnostics) device that can be used with android OS. It even lists a few of the compatible apps available on the market. The reviews are great and this is making me lean towards getting an Android-based tablet PC. I have been extremely happy with my Android Eris phone.
Very Useful Online Sitemap Builder
One of the good tips for website SEO includes creating a sitemap for your website. This is basically an xml file that contains a list of the URLs within your website. By having a sitemap file can assist search engines like google with knowing what urls exist for your website that they may not otherwise pickup.
If you have a relatively small website with a handful of pages then you can probably create your sitemap manually. However if you have a medium to large website then building a sitemap by hand is not practical. I use different CMS’s for my websites and many popular CMS’s (wordpress, Joomla, etc) have plugins or extensions that can create a sitemap for you. However, I wanted a sitemap builder that was not limited to the content management software that I am using.

Can’t Wait For my New Android Phone (HTC Droid Eris)
I decided to make the switch from Windows Mobile to Android mainly because I use so many Google features and applications that it only makes sense. I am? a major LINUX user and all about Open Source which is one of the selling points for me and why I decided to go ahead with the Android. I am still working on a CarPC project and will be integrating my Android with the project as well. I should receive my new HTC Eris early next week. This phone has been out for a few months now and there are tons of forum and blog posts about it already (Google is your friend). I will post my favorite features and comments later.

Poems and Short Stories
During the dramatic times of my school age youth (you all know what I’m talking about), I went through some personal conflicts that inspired some creativity. I began drawing and painting using a combination of medium as opposed to focusing on only one or two such as pastel or carbon. I also started writing poems and short stories. I never got any of this work published and unfortunately due to some bad decisions I made, I also lost all of that wonderful, original artwork.
Here we are 12 to 13 years later and media has evolved along with the internet.? I was recently thinking that since I have my own domain and website, why not start posting my work here.? I will be developing a new webpage dedicated to some poems and short stories that I wrote and possibly create new ones. I need to work out the details but check back often for updates. You can also follow me on Twitter.
